When transporting machinery on a low-loader, it can sometimes happen that the front axle becomes overloaded due to uneven weight distribution.
As a solution, Gheysen & Verpoort has developed an innovative patented system to prevent this.
Airpush system
Using an airbag, the drawbar is pushed downward, shifting the excess weight from the trailer’s front axle to the truck’s tow hitch.
This compensation can correct up to one ton on the front axle!

An additional advantage is that the towing vehicle gains more traction and grip on the road. Very useful when the truck is lightly loaded or when used with agricultural tractors. When coupling, the height of the drawbar can be manually adjusted.
